An Early Taste of Spring: Snapdragons

boxes-of-snapdragons-ready-for-planting-revisedI thought the photos of these boxes of fresh snapdragons in the midst of the streets of Tel Aviv might cheer up all of you who are suffering through an extremely frigid and snowy winter.

close-up-of-strawberry-colored-snapdragons-ta-21709-revisedEven with all of the magnificent foliage and flowers blooming this time of year in Israel, my breath was taken away when I came upon these snap-dragons dressed up in their pastel and bright colored blooms for all to see.

orangered-and-yellow-snapdragons-revisedWhen I got a close up view of these luscious flowers, they reminded me of freshly picked organic vegetables. I’m sure that they had just been delivered from local growers.

For me, a plethora of beautiful blooming plants is as delicious and sensual as any other experience I’ve yet to encounter in my lifetime. How about you?
